In the movie, 중천 means the place between heaven and earth, and all the people must stay 49 days in 중천 after their life. Korean has the belief something like that about afterlife traditionally.
This movie is about love(as you'll know...) of a man and a woman. But the romance of them continue not only on the earth but also in the heaven. I heard that the Korean and the Chinese made this movie together.
