This is speed battery charger for cellular phone installed in subway. It costs 1,000 won(about 1 US dollar) and takes 10~20 minutes to charge. You can pay by credit card or traffic card called T-money.

It's getting more and more people from other countries living in Korea. Especially many of them are Korean-Chinese(조선족), who can speak Korean well. So there are many services for them in the area where they are living. The photo above is some kind of international call center for them. They can call overseas in each of seat, and should pay the charge for calling.

CYON is the brand of LG Electronics, the 2nd biggest cellular phone maker(The 1st is Samsung) in Korea. It is LG's advertisement. There are not only ads, but also weather reports, news, etc on the screen of the phone.
